Best Viscometer – Upgraded Temperature Ranges
The most important part of the upgrade has been the increase to the temperature ranges in both models.
The Low Temperature model used to provide readings for temperatures in the 10 deg C to 100 deg C range. The upgraded model now facilitates temperatures starting at just to 5 deg C, whilst the upper range has increased to 150 deg C. Compare that to the so-called ‘market-leading’ viscometer, which similarily operates at 5 deg C at the lower end, but only up to 75 deg C at the upper end. That’s twice as great a range.
Our High Temperature model used to range from Ambient to 230 deg C. Now, it ranges up to 250 deg C. The so-called ‘market-leading’ alternative ranges from 50 deg C to 235 deg C. There’s simply no comparison.

Improved Precision
The improved temperature ranges were just part of the improvements made to both the hardware and the software. All of the changes have resulted in improved control and accuracy. This adds further weight to the idea that the ATAC NuLine C&P Viscometer is the most precise viscometer in its price range.
Upgraded Stability
The pillar design has been upgraded to provide additional support for the head. This allows the head and body to stay in perfect alignment. As a result, the viscometer achieves its results more accurately, and the head needs adjusting less often.
Improved Aesthetics
The Nuline Cone & Plate Viscometer has received upgrades to a number of important features. Those familiar with the NuLine will notice some aesthetic changes. The front and rear panels have polycarbonate overlays, which helps to keep them clean. Likewise, the insulator ring has been changed to a darker colour so that it doesn’t stain when using dark coloured samples. And the top plate is now nickel-plated aluminium to increase its resilience.
