Ross Davies Departs for a New Challenge

Ross Davies, who has served ATAC over the last few years as Engineering Director, has left the company to take up an exciting new career challenge in Norway.

Engineer Director

In the last few years, anyone who had any dealings with ATAC will have come into contact with Ross. Although he was primarily responsible for engineering at ATAC, he was also a director and played his part in a wide range of the company’s activities.

And a dedicated director and engineer he was too. He was a member of the Institute of Directors, in his bid to learn more about his role, and to deliver his very best efforts for the company. He was also a member of the IMechE (The Institute of Mechanical Engineers), and was Chair of the Swindon and North Wiltshire Committee of the IMechE, where his commitment to promoting STEM in local schools was a noteable feature of his term as Chair.

He brought a professionalism to his role as the Engineering Director, and the company has certainly benefitted from his knowledge and skills. He will be missed by all his colleagues, who wish him luck in his new endeavours.

New Challenge

Ross has always been an adventurous type. He is an active outdoors person, and could be found climbing mountains and scaling rockfaces around the UK. His new career takes him to the fjords of Norway, where there are more than a few new rockfaces to climb.

We wish him and his family all the very best in their new life just 200 miles south of the Arctic Circle.
