Ex Veritas – Why we need them
ATAC manufactures a range of process equipment – physical property analysers – that work in potentially explosive atmospheres. This includes two process viscometers, a vapour pressure analyser, and a range of legacy process analysers that operate in oil and gas installations.
For that reason, we need to ensure that our analysers are fully ATEX compliant. And in turn, that requires certifying our products as being safe for deployment in explosive atmospheres. Over the years, we have used certification bodies that have provided such services and our main requirement is to have a good working relationship to make the process easy and efficient.
Ex Veritas – Who are they?
Ex Veritas is a certification specialist that can offer UKCA, ATEX, and IECEx certificates. They have a wealth of experience and expertise in their field and they employ some of the very best hazardous area engineers in the UK. They are a really good fit for a company such as ATAC and we have decided to switch our certification requirements over to them.
They have their UK base in Wrexham, but they also have bases in the USA and Denmark. They have a comprehensive website that demonstrates the range of services they provide, which is rich in recommendations from companies large and small, across the globe.
